The classic collection

Barbara
Classic Handbag
Created in 1998 and revisited before being commercialised in Italy in 2001, Barbara was named after Steven Harkin’s wife, an Italian, who believed the design would have particular appeal in the Italian market.
That instinct proved right. The first commercial order was for 30 Barbara bags from a renowned shop in Turin, marking the beginning of the design’s commercial life in Italy.
Barbara became one of the brand’s favourite and successful designs, with its distinctive sculptural silhouette, clean lines and signature stud detailing. The original pattern and production blades are still preserved, making the design not only part of the brand’s creative heritage but also a potentially re-creatable commercial asset.

"
Steven, I met someone wearing your stunning backpack. Transported to another time, I was blown away. I had been influenced by both of my parents who attended the New Bauhaus in Chicago. Colour, design, usefulness -- beautiful. Sarah
